We mainly use a natural coconut and 100% fully refined food grade paraffin wax blend.

Trimming your wicks keeps the flame from getting too high, which can cause the jar to get too hot and even shatter. And also, if you don’t trim your wick, it could cause the candle to soot and not last as long.
-
For our regular candles, we use cotton wicks with paper fibers braided into them to help them burn, and are 100% lead-free. For our wood wick candles, we use eco-friendly, clean-burning wooden wicks.
-
If you trim the wick to 1/4th inch before each burn, you should have little to no soot. But we can not promise that all of our candles will be 100% free from soot because that is just the nature of burning something; it doesn’t matter what wax is used.
-
Yes, but we don’t recommend using it as another candle because heat weakens the glass, and it could shatter. You can use the jars for all sorts of things, like you could paint them and use them as a flower vase, or you can take them to your nearest recycling facility.
-
No, because some essential oils are highly flammable, and getting a strong candle with just essential oils is hard. But a lot of the fragrance oils we use are infused with essential oils. However, we do have a all natural skincare line with just essential oils and all-natural colorants.

Hemp seed oil is packed with natural ingredients that can help improve your skin health. The hemp plant is rich in fatty acids, which are essential for healthy skin. These fatty acids help to moisturize your skin, prevent dryness, and won’t clog your pores. Hemp seed oil is also rich in antioxidants, which can help protect your skin from damage caused by free radicals.
-
Yes, all the fragrance oils we use in our candles are 100% phthalate-free and free from other carcinogens. We do use some paraffin wax in our coconut wax blend, to stabilize the coconut wax and help with the scent throw but the paraffin wax we use is 100% fully refined food grade paraffin wax.
-
Honestly, it depends on what kind of allergic reaction you have to coconut. Most people can’t eat coconut or use skincare products that contain coconut; however, we have a few customers allergic to coconut that say burning our candles doesn’t bother them. So just use your own best judgment.
-
That is a safety precaution to keep the glass from busting because the jar gets the hottest at the bottom. That’s why we also recommend burning your candles on a heat-resistant surface.
